School workshops

MOMO offers three-hour and full-day object-driven programs for primary and secondary students, aimed at stimulating students' curiosity and imagination.

Our workshops have been designed to aid teachers in implementing the new National History Curriculum.

These "hands-on" programs will contribute to students' understanding of the world we live in and will particularly enhance their appreciation of Australia’s history and the distinctive social, economic and political path our diverse Australian society has taken.

Of particular emphasis will be the role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders have played, and continue to play, in our national life.

Format & pricing

Format

All workshops are object-driven, focusing on learning directly through objects of the past, and include an excavation component.

The archaeologists/facilitators will provide all artefacts, excavation materials and tools as needed.

Pricing

Prices vary, depending on the workshop chosen – school workshops start at a base rate of $300 for a two-hour workshop, while three-hour workshops start at $500.
